Balanced Kids is a direct primary care pediatric practice serving families across the Twin Cities metro, built around one idea: your kid gets seen at home, by the same provider, without the waiting room, the rush, or the surprise bill. It's truly family-centered care, meaning you have support for your kid's health whenever you need it, not just during a scheduled appointment.
That looks like in-home sick and well visits, same-day and next-day scheduling, and direct text access to your provider so you're never guessing or waiting on hold. It looks like point-of-care testing done right there in your living room, transparent pricing you know upfront, and visits long enough to actually get your questions answered.
Balanced Kids runs primarily on membership, which is what makes all of this possible. A la carte visits are also available for families who aren't ready for membership yet or want to try things out first. However you come to Balanced Kids, the goal is the same: less waiting, more listening, real care built around your family.
Balanced Kids was founded by Dr. Sarah, a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner, after fifteen years in pediatric healthcare, most of it inside a system that made it harder to give families the kind of care she believed they deserved. Watching that gap between the care families deserved and the care the system supported is what led to the creation of something different. Balanced Kids is that something different.
