Brent Quast joined Minnwest Bank in 2024 bringing along over 20 years of banking experience in southern Minnesota and the Twin Cities. He’s worked for both small privately held institutions and large publicly traded banks during his career, with most of his experience in commercial and business banking. Brent has worked with customers across multiple industries ranging in size from start-ups to $1B in revenue. He enjoys working directly with business owners and helping them navigate their day-to-day challenges. Some of his favorite things to assist customers with are mergers and acquisitions and ownership succession. Outside of banking, Brent has volunteered with numerous youth sports associations as both a coach and administrator. He also enjoys volunteering in his community and supporting Rotary and the Red Cross.
Brent holds a BA from Winona State University. He earned a Certificate with the Graduate School of Banking in 2018 and holds a Certificate of Executive Leadership from the University of WI College of Business.
Brent lives in New Prague with his wife Jill, son Alex (who recently started college at the University of Iowa) and daughter Olivia plus a loving Havanese named Lulu. Along with spending time with his family, he enjoys cooking, reading and golfing . An avid sports fan, you can often find him cheering on the Vikings, Iowa Hawkeyes Football, or the Timberwolves.
