Catherine Sowder, President at SDDI Signs, co-founded the architectural sign company SDDI Signs in 2002. Bringing with her a purchasing and commodity sourcing background to allow brokering of all aspects of the signage industry. She understood how the client made decisions and capitalized on that information by creating an outsourcing process to accommodate a quick turn of information.
Growing from the 400 sq. ft. home basement office with SDDI outsourcing everything to now owning a 10,000 sq. ft building and designing and manufacturing 68% of its sales. Employing creative and talented people that design, manage and produce items to enhance our clients’ working environments. SDDI Signs has rebranded national corporate locations such as Proctor & Gable, Cargill, RW Baird, Farmers Insurance,3M and many others throughout the US.
Though Catherine loves to walk through the front doors at SDDI she also loves to walk through the woods and hike up to the mountain tops. Whether it’s with her husband and business partner of 31 years or her 3 grown sons. She is always up for an adventure.
