Charles Shannon is Managing Director of MSV Capital, a position he has held since April 2024.
Charles is a senior executive leveraging extensive transaction and integration experience to source, plan and lead strategic acquisitions and investments on behalf of his clients. Charles’ focus is to drive proprietary and synergistic inorganic growth opportunities for his clients.
Charles created MSV Capital in April 2024, because he could see there was a gap in the market for outsourced corporate development projects as well as a need for sell-side advisory services from an experienced buyside M&A professional in order to Maximize Shareholder Value (“MSV”).
Prior to starting MSV, Charles has spent the last twenty-five years buying and selling software companies. Charles spent the first ten years of his career as a software M&A investment banker and the last fifteen years holding key strategic roles in private equity, venture capital and technology focused corporate entities.
Charles holds a BA in Corporate Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and is a U.S. Navy Veteran.
